Description
Jacques Prévert (1900 - 1977) was a French poet who also wrote songs, scripts and dialogues for cinema. He became a popular poet thanks to his colloquial language and his witticisms.
His poetry is constantly made up of the manipulation of language (puns, intentional slips of the tongue, neologisms, etc.) from which the poet draws unexpected comic effects (sometimes dark humor), double meanings or even unusual images.
