The 3M mounting strips allow you to hang our magnets safely if you want to attach them to your walls and not just to your refrigerator.
Fast, tool-free, without the need to use nails and therefore make holes in your walls. Otherwise, the magnets (magnetic cards) will find their place on your refrigerators without the 3M strips.
The 3M strips are quickly mounted on the back of the magnet if you want to put them on your walls (allowing re-positioning if necessary without leaving traces).
